Gabe is a Product Manager at Broadcom focused on high-performance networking in VMware Cloud Foundation. His work spans network stacks, data path acceleration (EDP), NIC and DPU offloads, and system-level performance optimization across virtualized environments. He previously spent over a decade at VMware, where he worked on early software-defined cloud initiatives and helped bring technologies like HCX and NSX to market. Today, his focus is on pushing the limits of network throughput, latency, and efficiency by aligning hardware capabilities with software-defined infrastructure. His interests include network architecture, workload mobility, and the evolving boundary between software and silicon in modern data centers. See the “About Me” page for more of his story. ⸻ Disclaimer ⸻ This is a personal blog and does not represent the views of Broadcom or its affiliates.
